Setting up a sacred space for your practice

•Find a space for your mat where you won't be distracted by your surroundings (not near the bookshelf that's been on your tidy list forever)

•A space with less is more. If you can declutter a space this will support you in feeling relaxed and calm

•Consider what technology you're going to use to watch the videos (your phone, computer, casted to your TV) Where you put your mat might be restricted by this

•I do suggest using earphones for the meditations to help improve the audio experience

•Music: the yoga classes do not have music. You might like to play your own playlist or contact me for some of my favourite class songs for you to stream/download

•Consider the time of day you’re planning to practice and how this will best serve you

•Do you have remedies at home which will elevate your practice? Crystals, essential oils

•Having a ritual of rolling out your mat, closing the door, lighting a candle can help you 'arrive' for your practice

•No yoga props? No worries! The classes don't rely on any yoga props but if you want to add these into your practice here are some suggestions:

Block: a rectangular tupperware with lid or a thick book

Sitting or knee support: a folded blanket under the sit bones or under the knees

Bolster: a thick rolled towel / blanket or a firm pillow

Eye pillow: A scarf

But most importantly, just roll out your mat and step on it. Press play. And the rest will come.
