Weekend Retreat.

A weekend dedicated to connecting to and nurturing your whole self, whilst receiving and enjoying the beauty of Kinglake.

Located only 75 minutes from Frankston and Melbourne CBD and 45 minutes from Ringwood.

We gather with like-hearted people on a weekend retreat which weaves together nature connection, meditation practices, Yoga, embodied movement, guided breath, rituals and nourishing food.

The practices.

  • Opening and closing circles

  • Sound meditation with crystal bowls

  • Fire gathering and ritual (outdoor, weather dependent)

  • Yoga flow classes focused on breath and movement for embodiment

  • Rest & Restore class of restorative yoga, mini individual energy healing, the use of essential oils

  • Embodied silent disco dance movement session with Soph from Pohss Studio.

  • Guided breath practices

  • Journaling guidance and prompts

  • Guided meditations and energy activations

  • All Yoga equipment can be provided

The activities.

  • National Park bush walk with stunning forest and waterfalls

  • The popular St Andrews Market is a 15 minute drive from Kinglake, nestled in amongst the trees on Saturday 9am-2pm

  • Kinglake Township with a coffee shop & produce and stores

  • The small local Bollygum Community Market is held on Sunday from 10am-2pm in Bollygum Park, a 5 min walk from the retreat venue

  • On-site spa treatment will be made available for booking for an additional cost

Leisure time is allocated on both Friday and Saturday afternoons to enjoy the local landscape and offerings, all a short walk or drive from the venue.

Location & Accommodation.

Karma at Kinglake- Retreat venue and accommodation

Beautifully appointed & light-filled self contained cottages & suites each with a fire place and shared living & kitchenette

Kinglake is located on the top of the Great Dividing Range and is surrounded by National Park.

Karma at Kinglake is the venue of the retreat and is an easy walk into Kinglake township and a short drive from the National Park and two beautiful waterfalls.

The entire venue will be for retreat guests only.

Room options include:

  • an individual bedroom within a two bedroom stand alone cottage

  • a bedroom in the guest suite of the main residence

  • or book a twin share bedroom with a friend (available in a limited number of cottages only)

The cottage/suite is shared with one other person or a twin share booking.

Within your cottage you will have:

  • a shared living room and fireplace

  • a shared bathroom

There is 1 one bedroom cottage.

The venue and accommodation is absolutely beautiful in winter with individual and shared fire places, gorgeous teas and cozy spaces.

Arrive Friday 11th August  

Arrive at your own leisure from 2pm with opening circle, meditation and supper from 6pm

Close Sunday 13th August

We will close the retreat by 1.30pm

Nourishment through food.

All meals are provided throughout the weekend.

  • The venue provides continental breakfast in your cottage (cereals, bread & spreads), tea and coffee pods

  • Friday dinner will await you in your accommodation & a light communal supper will be shared at the opening circle

  • Saturday morning tea and lunch

  • Saturday communal dinner with wine available

  • Sunday shared light brunch platter

  • A cold pressed juice of your choice

  • Herbal teas and fruit

Catered meals are provided by Coffee For the People, Seaford. Meals will be gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian/vegan friendly. Dietary requirements can be accommodated for, please indicate in booking process.

$920pp for an individual bedroom with a double bed

$780pp for a twin share bedroom with 2 x single beds (book with a friend)

Payment options

Pay in full OR pay a $500 deposit (via bank transfer or Eventbrite) to secure your booking and pay the remaining amount by the 21st July 2023 via bank transfer
